The best way to stay organized
Tabs, color tags, hover-previews, library stats, hover the dots to see what each piece does.
No bloat, no AI gimmicks. Just the parts of a video library that actually move work forward.
2, 3, or 8 frames depending on duration. Sprite-sheets pre-baked. No clicks, no playback, just truth at a glance.
Drag clips onto color tags, star your favorites, then find anything with instant search, everything flows smoothly, like a wave being ridden.
Drop straight into Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or back to Explorer. OLE metadata is set so the clip lands with the right name in your bin.
Three clips. Move your mouse over them. Watch them play. No clicks, no buffering, that's exactly what Reelio does in your library.
OLE metadata is wired up so your clip lands in it with the correct name, not 'Untitled.mp4' with a question mark.

A focused little tool, but every line below is built and shipping.
Yes. Zero cloud, zero telemetry, zero account. Everything sits in reelio/index.db on your computer.
The FFmpeg worker pool is capped at 2 processes. Scans are iterative, not recursive, stack-safe on huge folder trees, and the UI never blocks.
Nothing, until you ask. Reelio never re-scans on its own, so as long as the drive stays plugged in your clips stay put. The library only changes when you manually trigger a re-scan: at that point Reelio adds any new files it finds at the watched path and removes anything it can no longer reach. Unplug the drive, then run a scan, and those clips disappear from the library. Your video files themselves are never touched.
Not yet. Reelio is WinUI 3, Windows-native.
