Summary
Reelio runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data off your computer. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking.
Data we collect
None. Reelio does not collect or send any personal data to us or to any third party.
Local processing
Reelio reads the video files in the folders you add to your library in order to:
- generate thumbnails, and
- read technical metadata such as duration and resolution.
All of this processing runs on your device using a bundled copy of FFmpeg. Thumbnails and library metadata are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.
File system access
Reelio requests broad file system access so it can read video files wherever you choose to add them from. Reelio only reads the files you add to your library. It never modifies, uploads, or shares your files. The only files Reelio writes are the thumbnails and library database it creates for you, stored locally.
Purchases
The optional one-time "Reelio Premium" purchase is processed entirely by the Microsoft Store. Reelio receives only the licence and ownership status needed to unlock premium features. We never see or store your payment information. The transaction is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
No analytics, no tracking
Reelio contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking components. The application makes no network connections of its own; the only network activity is performed by the Microsoft Store to validate your purchase.
Children
Reelio is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
